It's hard

It shouldn't be that hard to update my blog at least every other day with something I like. Cause there is a lot of nice things out there. When I'm not able to really write something I'm gonna post a nice picture/song/video/et cetera. Starting TODAY.

I found these pictures of a wonderful hotel named 'El Palauet' in Passeig de Gràcia - Barcelona. Hopefully I'll find a man who'll take me there one day.

Villa Rotterdam

I'm more and more into architecture lately. My brother was considering to study architecture. Too bad he changed his mind. It would have been great if he could design me a beautiful house. One like this for instance. The project is called Villa Rotterdam. And a Villa it is.
The original house has been extended several times. Ooze Architects decided to completely transform the building into something different. Now old spaces are connected with new ones and they add a lot of windows. Result: A beautiful open space in the middle of nowhere.

Ricardo Bofill's Cement Factory in Barcelona

This is such an amazing project. In 1973 architect Ricardo Bofill discovered a cement factory in his hometown Barcelona. Without any hesitation he decided to turn this building into his office.
After two years of working on the project it's also a home and exhibition space. Maybe I can live with him in this beautiful building when I move to Barcelona. Space enough I suppose.

Let's go to Mexico

According to design bible Wallpaper, Hotel Habita in Mexico City is one of the best design hotels in the world. And so it was rewarded with the Design Award 2010. I can see why.

Can I get a plane ticket to Sao Paolo? And please bring me to KÁA Restaurant designed by Arthur Casas. Arthur Casas is an architect of interiors and constructions, developing residential and commercial projects through very characteristic forms.
